- Grasslands National Park – A park of 497.3 sq km (192 sq mi) located in the southwest of the Canadian Province of Saskatchewan, not far from the US border.
- Gros Morne National Park – A park on the west coast of the Island of Newfoundland having an area of 1,805 sq km (697 sq mi).
- Jasper National Park – The largest Rocky Mountain national park, consisting of 10,878 sq km (4,200 sq mi) and located in the western part of the Canadian Province of Alberta.
- Kluane National Park and Reserve –A park in the southwest corner of Yukon Territory which has an area of 21,980 sq km (8486.5 sq mi). It is a land of precipitous, high mountains, immense ice-fields, and lush valleys that produce diverse plant and wildlife species.
- Kootenay National Park – A 1,406 square km (543 square miles) national park in the Rocky Mountains in the Canadian Province of British Columbia.
- Kouchibouguac National Park – A park of 238 square km (92 square mi) located in the southeastern part of the Canadian Province of New Brunswick, about 100 km (62 mi) north of Moncton.
- Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve – A park consisting of about thirty limestone islands and more than 1,000 granitic islets and reefs along the North Shore of the Gulf of St. Lawrence in the Canadian Province of Quebec.
- Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks – Two adjacent parks located along the Trans-Canada Highway in eastern British Columbia.
- Nahanni National Park – A northern park, covering over 30,000 sq km (11,583 sq mi) in the southwest corner of the Northwest Territories.

- Point Pelee National Park – A park of 20 square km (8 square mi) located at the most southern point on the Canadian mainland south-east of Windsor, in the Canadian Province of Ontario.
- Prince Albert National Park – A park of nearly one million acres on the southern edge of Canada’s great boreal forest in a transitional zone, about 200 km (120 miles) north of Saskatoon, in the Canadian Province of Saskatchewan.

- Riding Mountain National Park – A park of approximately 3000 km2 (1158.4 mi2) located between the towns of Minnedosa and Dauphin in the western part of the Canadian Province of Manitoba.
- St. Lawrence Islands National Park – The smallest national park and first established east of the Rocky Mountains and located in the western end of the St. Lawrence River.
- Sirmilik National Park – A park of 22,000 sq km (8,494 sq mi), located in Nunavut Territory in the eastern Arctic of Canada.
- Terra Nova National Park – Canada’s most easterly national park, situated on Bonavista Bay, on the northeast coast of the island of Newfoundland and having an area of 396 sq km (153 sq mi).
- Wapusk National Park – A park of 11,475 sq km (4,431 sq mi) located along Hudson Bay between Churchill and York Factory, in the northeastern part of the Canadian Province of Manitoba.
- Waterton Lakes National Park – A park of 505 sq km (195 sq mi) located in the southwest corner of Alberta, adjacent to British Columbia and Montana, and forming part of the international park with Glacier National Park, of Montana.
- Yoho National Park – A 1,310 sq km (507 sq mi) national park in the Rocky Mountains in the Canadian Province of British Columbia, to the north of Kootenay National Park.
