  • allopurinol [Zyloprim]
  • colchicine
  • probenecid [Benemid, Benuryl, and others]
  • sulfinpyrazone [Anturane]

  • Deplete: A, beta carotene, B3, B12, D, E, K, folic acid, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium




  • Note:
    • These drugs tend to remain in the body longer in vegetarians or those on low-protein diets. This can triple the time it takes for the drug to be removed from the body.
