- fluorouracil [Adrucil, 5-FU]
- methotrexate [Folex, Maxtrex, and others] interferes with folic acid action
- paclitaxel [Taxol, Onxal]
- procarbazine [Matulane]
- trastuzumab [Herceptin] and others
- tamoxifen [Nolvadex-D, Tamofen, and others]
- and many more
- Deplete: A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, E, choline, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, potassium, selenium, zinc, L-carnitine, L-glutamine, glutathione, melatonin, NAC, EFAs (essential fatty acids)
- Notes:
- Ironically, many of these nutrients are needed for reducing chemo side effects.
- Ginkgo biloba helps protect the kidneys against damage.
- Black cohosh and dong quai can feed estrogen-dependent tumors.
