Baldwin

Baldwin

This is a round, yellow, and red-speckled American apple discovered in the mid 18th century.

First known as the Pecker or Woodpecker, it was later renamed to Baldwin in honour of the Colonel who propagated it throughout Massachusetts.

It has a good, medium flavour and stores well.
